Smith Brothers Farm is a family dairy farm, that has been in Petes family for over four generations, started in 1920. Thanks to loyal customers all over the Puget Sound region, we have grown to be one of the largest dairies in the West, which produces and distributes growth hormone free products from our own cows.

In the "old days" you had to go to a dairy or raise your own cow to have fresh milk. When home delivery began seventy years ago, people were excited to have milk brought right to their door. Home delivery all but died out in the early 70's as supermarkets and convenience stores began to pop up on every street corner. Now, our lives are so full of activity and responsibility that it is a hassle to waste time running to the store for groceries just like it was a hassle to go to the dairy to get milk.

BILLING
On the first delivery of each month we will leave you an invoice for your previous months deliveries. Please leave a check in your milk box for the driver to pick up on your next delivery day. We are a small independent company. We take pride in providing you with excellent service and an excellent product. We are asking you to please make it a priority to pay your bill the second delivery of the month.
DELIVERY
You will receive delivery once or in some areas tiwce a week based upon your request. Your order may be easily updated or canceled by contacting us here on our web site or by calling our office. [Contact Us] If you request a specific order that your driver can't fulfill he will leave the order you requested on your following delivery day.
PRODUCT CARE
Temperature: To maximize the lifetime of your dairy products please keep them stored between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Refrigerate milk as soon as possible. If milk is going to be outside during a hot afternoon please make arrangements for someone to put it away as soon as possible or leave an ice pack in the milk box.
Storage: To properly store your milk, keep it in the back of the refrigerator not in the front or in the door. Also never leave it sitting out on the counter for more than a few minutes. Keep milk away from sunlight, bright light, and strong fluorescent light to prevent the development of off-flavor and reduction in vitamin content. Never pour leftover milk into a new milk container.
Flavor: Keep milk containers closed to prevent absorption of other food flavors in the refrigerator. Fruits, vegetables and any other odorous substances are easily absorbed into milk.
